Volunteer roles - there are two main roles for volunteers at Off The Record
- Initially you will join the service as a Support Worker for a minimum of 6 months to gain an overview of the service.
- For those seeking to develop and use their counselling skills, there will be an opportunity to attend a Skills Assessment training to prepare you for working in a counselling role.
Volunteering requirement - our volunteers all agree to
- Support one regular rota duty per week (minimum 2½ hours) during our advertised opening hours.
- Attend a monthly group supervision meeting.
- Regularly attend trainings and workshops provided by Off The Record.
Off The Record offers volunteers a good opportunity to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence in working with young people. Volunteering with us also enables you to network with a wide variety of like-minded poeple.
